After LHS went immediately into the US Marine Corps. I spent 3 tours in Viet Nam, received a battlefield commission and Bronze Star / "V" and 2 Purple Hearts, went to flight school while attending / finishing school and ended us as a pilot on F4b Phantoms. Retired 22 years later as a LtCol.

Went back into the automotive industry managing a chain of auto dealerships in Michigan but retired in 2004 and bought a large bed and breakfast ( 11 Room Victorian) in Asheville NC. Had a successful run and sold it in June of 2019 and now we are enjoying life and travel.

Married Barbara in 1984 and she has been my soulmate ever since. As life moved on, she has been there with me as a true partner for every day of it.
